GF = gluten free, GFO – gluten free option available, V = Vegetarian, Vo = vegetarian option available, VG = vegan, VGO = vegan option available.  Where options are available this may mean products are substituted in order to provide your dish.

All of our food is made fresh to order.  We appreciate your patience during busy times.  We cannot guarantee that any food or drink sold by Coljan will be totally allergen free.  Some items marked as GF (gluten free) may be cooked in a fryer that has had other products with traces of gluten or dairy etc.  For those who suffer from serious allergies, please speak to a member of our team or management who will be happy to talk through options with you.  Thank you for visiting us and please enjoy your visit.

Terms of booking:

  • The table is provided for a maximum of 6 people.
  • Admittance is based on a completed booking form being received and accepted only.
  • The data provided will be stored in line with GDPR requirements however, will be passed onto the relevant authorities (i.e. Track and Trace) if required to do so.
  • Time at table is limited to 105 mins (1 hour 45 mins).
  • Please note a limited menu will be available within the dining room.
  • If there are more than 6 people in your bubble please contact us by phoning 01364 654011.
  • Please note all guests are booking for a minimum of 1 main course per person.
  • All guests are required to comply with the requirements of the establishment. Please note any request will only be to ensure your safety.
  • A £5 non refundable deposit is required per person to guarantee your booking. You will receive a confirmation email link to pay.
  • Please note bookings are for internal tables only or for private hire of the Coljan barn. We do not take bookings for outside tables.

Due to supporting many offsite events and outside catering, we will be operating our outside catering trailer and therefore the (restaurant) will be closed on the following evenings:

Friday 17th and Saturday 18th June
Friday 24th and Saturday 25th June
Friday 1st July


We will also be closed daytime and evening on Saturday 2nd July to help David and Hannah celebrate their wedding.
